Success again for Valley Skating Club Synchro teams!

Three Teams of Synchronized Skaters brought home the medals from The British Synchronized Ice Skating and Championships and Open National; held in Sheffield. The Valley Skating Club has brought home a trophy from this event every year since 1992 and this year was even more successful than usual, with three teams bringing home two  firsts and a second place.

The teams competing were; in the Preliminary category (17 skaters aged from 9 - 15), Team Phoenix; in the Intermediate category (17 skaters aged 12 -19) the team is called Team Isis and in the Adult category (20 skaters) is Team Ice Passion.

The winning team in the Preliminary category was Team Phoenix, Coached by Sergei Volgushev and Natalie Mercado.

Team Isis, coached by Dannii Hunt-Goldie, Sergei Volgushev& Astrea Stacey, took first place in the Intermediate category.

In the Adult category, Team Ice Passion coached by Tina Finch- Brown placed 2nd. Ice Passion recently competed in the Synchronized Skating category at the Adult British Championships and took 1st place !
